For a full body treatment I like doing this at least once a week if not more. Apart from supporting the cellular renewal process, it also energizes the body.
I recommend being within 6 inches of the device au naturel for 10mins per side.
Infrared Sauna Blanket
I love a good traditional sauna for detoxing both mentally and physically.
This dry heat sauna blanket has been a good at-home alternative. They work by heating the body from the inside out using infrared.
Follow this with a cold plunge for a contrast therapy.
Cold Plunge
If you’ve worked up to incorporating a daily cold plunge then this is a good investment.
Pros: filtration system, consistent temperature, inflatable tub if you want a portable setup.
A huge fan of cold plunge, I’ve found it makes me feel clearer, more euphoric.
TLDR: Contrast therapy has been the most incredible additional to my self care. When I was on the island I lived in the very north and somewhat remote part of the island where I had access to a cold water stream about a 2-mile jog away. It was a near daily ritual for me to dunk in that stream at 5am - perfect morning :)
