2018 - 2023
AI Machine Learning Engineer at Apple for 5 years, working across various products and tech stacks.
My experience spans working on the development and maintanance of ML training infrastructure (C++/Python) to creating ML models (Python) for powering experiences and APIs across a wide range of Apple products.
The latter consists of developing ML algorithms which encompasses thorough understanding of the user experience and plan for use cases, working with various stakeholders sometimes across multiple time zones, doing end to end in-house data curation incl. automated and manual data processing and pruning, literature survey for algorithm selection and efficient neural network training as well as testing, deployment in beta and finally in production.
Some of my team’s work has been featured in WWDC. A list of current frameworks and products I’ve worked on: TuriCreate (ML framework for developers), Depth API, Apple Watch, Vision Pro.
My passion for enriching company culture led to fostering of various culture and diversity initiatives (hiring, employee training etc), including advocacy for neurodiversity.
I’m also the Chair of Women in Tech group for the Sensor and Prototyping org at Apple. I’ve hosted leadership panels interviewing leaders behind our top features and products. One of my strengths and passions is storytelling - enabling platform for leaders to share product journeys. I believe in building a culture of belonging, creating language around hard and important conversations, and enabling connection through education.
My time at Apple has nurtured a deep empathy for end user experience when building tech that enrich lives. As well as the important conversations to have when developing and using AI to power experiences. For my next adventure I’m looking for Product roles, helping develop vision and roadmap while working with engineers on novel experiences.
